Understanding Conflict in Public Participation - Understand how conflict dynamics affect P2 and engagement. Learn how to identify and respond using five dimensions of P2 and engagement conflict.


Understanding People and Communities - Develop insights into engaging people and communities to create P2 and engagement processes that center diverse voices and perspectives.


* Training must take place within a 12 month period.


Cancellation and Refund Policy

All cancellation and requests for refunds must be received in writing. Requests must be sent to

Full refunds

Requests for full refunds require written notice and must be submitted a minimum of five (5) days before the first day of the course. Those canceling will receive a full refund, minus an administrative fee of $50.00.

No refunds

There will be no refunds for cancellation requests received within the two week period prior to the course start date. Transfers to future sessions or courses will also not be permitted within this time period.

Instead, a substitute may be named prior to the beginning of the course. Please email your substitution information to

Courses require a minimum number of participants to proceed so that the best learning experience is provided. Confluence Training reserves the right to cancel courses if the minimum number of participants isn’t reached 5 days prior to the course start date. Registered participants will have the option to receive a full refund or transfer their registration to another course.

There will be no refunds for missed (full or partial) courses and session recordings are not available. Multiple session courses usually build up knowledge from one session to the next. If a participant misses a full session they may not be able to attend subsequent sessions of the course.

Participants are responsible for making sure that they are receiving course emails and are aware of the course time zone. Training participants are responsible for ensuring that they have access to Zoom  or Butter and are able to access course materials.
